Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Sr. Project Manager to independently lead the execution of multiple, large-scale, and complex construction projects nationwide. This role involves full lifecycle ownership from pre-construction through closeout, focusing on strategic planning, financial oversight, advanced risk management, and the mentorship of junior staff. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety, serving as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities
Strategic Project Leadership and Planning:
Lead the development of comprehensive project execution plans, master timelines, detailed work breakdown structures, and critical path analysis.
Project Budgeting:
Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and procurement strategies to ensure financial goals are met.
Advanced Risk and Contract Management:
Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate high-impact project risks; manage and negotiate complex contracts, subcontracts, and all change orders, ensuring compliance and favorable terms.
Executive Communication and Client Relations:
Serve as the primary, high-level communication liaison with clients, executive leadership, regulatory bodies, and major trade partners; provide clear, concise, and professional executive-level status reports and presentations.
Team Oversight and Mentorship:
Provide direction and mentorship to Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators; oversee all project documentation, RFI, and submittal processes, delegating administrative tasks while maintaining accountability for accuracy and timely flow.
Administrative Tasks:
Oversee RFIs, submittals, and schedule updates.
Site Visits:
Travel to sites to meet with owners, inspectors, or subcontractors to discuss project details and scope. (This role is primarily office based, but will require traveling)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in managing construction projects, with at least 3 years in a Senior Project Manager or equivalent leadership capacity.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple, large-scale projects ($10M+).
Expert knowledge of construction methods, advanced estimating, financial management, and applicable safety regulations.
Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and complex problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel extensively and manage projects across diverse geographic locations.
Proficiency in advanced project management software (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet) and Google Spaces.
PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
OSHA 30-hour certification required.
