New Grad RN - PACU - ( 25000D1C )
The Cleveland Medical Center Adult PACUs are split into two areas: Mather PACU (31 beds) and MOSC PACU (24 beds). The PACU has three phases that patients go through: 1. Pre-op where they are prepped for surgery, 2. PACU where they receive post-op care after surgery, 3. Discharge – preparing patients for home 4. Extended care – patients that are floor ready
High acuity patients
Patients on mild vasoactive drips and/or intubated patients
ICU overflow

Position Requirements
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are:

Education Requirements
Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
License & Certification Requirements
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN strongly preferred.
Work experience in the unit you are applying to in UAP capacity (STNA, PCNA, NA II, etc.) and/or a practicum/preceptorship is strongly preferred.
