Origin Travel Nurses
We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Emergency Department Nurse with at least 2 years of experience to work independently in our small pediatric unit. This role requires the ability to function autonomously, as the nurse will often be the only caregiver in the unit. In times of low patient volume, the nurse may be floated to the Med/Surg floor, ED, or Family Birthplace, based on their experience.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the Emergency Department. Function independently in a small pediatric unit. Float to other departments as needed, including Med/Surg and Family Birthplace. Manage care for patients with various pediatric diagnoses, including respiratory diseases and congenital issues. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in pediatric care. Active Maryland or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission. Certifications: BLS, PALS. Prior charge experience preferred. Experience with community hospital charting preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
