What You'll Do
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for hardware-integrated software systems
Build and scale infrastructure for real-time hardware graph awareness and device orchestration
Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting across embedded, cloud, and edge deployments
Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment workflows for customer environments
Manage containerization and orchestration for multi-environment deployments (cloud, on-prem, air-gapped)
Collaborate with systems and embedded engineers to ensure reliable deployments across diverse hardware targets
Own infrastructure security, compliance, and operational reliability
What You Bring Strong experience with:
CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) and containerization
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, CloudFormation)
Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid/on-prem deployments
Linux systems administration and shell scripting
Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack)
Familiarity with:
Embedded systems deployment and edge computing
Air-gapped and secure enclave deployments
Hardware configuration management and firmware update pipelines
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers)
Python and/or Go for tooling and automation
What We're Looking For We're looking for a DevOps engineer who can build bulletproof infrastructure for systems that bridge software and physical hardware — where uptime isn't optional and latency matters.
You should have:
Deep understanding of production systems and what it takes to keep them running
Experience deploying software in environments with strict reliability requirements
Comfort working across cloud, on-prem, and edge deployments
Ability to move fast while maintaining operational excellence
Excitement about building infrastructure for physical AI and hardware intelligence
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
3+ years of DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure experience
Willingness to work startup hours, in-person (weekends included) at our San Francisco office
Work authorization in the United States
