Looking for a dependable, safety‑conscious CDL Class B Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe operation of a vehicle such as a Straight Truck, Dump Truck, or Box Truck to deliver goods and materials to our local customers. This is a local position—you will be home every night!
Key Responsibilities
Safe Operation: Safely drive and maneuver vehicles in various weather and traffic conditions.
Inspections: Perform required pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure equipment is in top shape.
Loading/Unloading: Assist with loading/unloading cargo or oversee the securement of loads.
Documentation: Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
Customer Service: Act as a professional representative of our company when interacting with clients.
Essential Functions: Work in a smoke‑free environment, wear steel‑toe shoes, work up to 2 hours of overtime per week, and work weekends.
Requirements & Qualifications
License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Medical: Current DOT Medical Card.
Clean Record: No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years; no DUIs in the last 5 years.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience (preferred).
Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods.
Endorsements: Air Brakes, Tanker, HazMat endorsements are a plus.
