Heavy Equipment Operator - Sanford Recycling & Transfer Station
Location: Sanford, FL
Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday-Friday + Occasional Saturdays | 45-55 hrs/week
Weekly Pay + Time and a Half for All Hours Over 40!

What You'll Do:
Operate Excavators, Loaders, and Floater equipment to move, spread, and level waste on the tipping floor
Keep the site running smooth and safe for truck unloading
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections like a pro
Maintain a clean, organized work area
Pitch in with site maintenance when needed
What It Takes:
- Experience operating Excavators and Floater equipment (used for spreading and leveling waste)
- Skilled with loaders or similar heavy equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Clean driving record preferred
