Located in Rapid City, South Dakota, the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills has 36 inpatient medical rehabilitation beds and 18 long‑term acute care beds. Our hospital uniquely combines two levels of care under one roof, allowing us to offer comprehensive solutions for patients who’ve suffered debilitating injuries, illnesses, surgeries, or chronic conditions. We are dedicated to delivering advanced treatments and compassionate care to help our patients recover and regain independence. Responsibilities
The RN develops, implements, evaluates, and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Healthcare. Care provision includes direct care, delegation, and supervision of all nursing activities in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships; fulfilling hospital responsibilities; and developing specialty expertise. Required Skills
Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor required. Additional Qualifications/Skills
CRRN and ACLS from a Vibra‑approved vendor preferred. Previous acute care experience strongly preferred. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Benefits
