Dietitians On Demand
Starting at $45 per hour (travel rates available). $1,000 completion bonus offered.
24‑40 Hours/week | Starting ASAP for a 3‑month duration.
150‑bed acute care facility. Travel/mileage offered, pending location. Entry‑level dietitians encouraged to apply. Availability on MWF strongly preferred. Clinical duties only.
Just outside of Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana has tons of local, suburban charm. This is a perfect position for a dietitian who is looking for an acute care opportunity.
Key Duties
Conduct a nutrition assessment for patients at nutritional risk per facility policies and procedures.
Develop and implement an individualized plan for nutrition intervention based on nutrition assessment and evidence‑based standards.
Assess educational needs and provide nutrition counseling for individuals and groups.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in meetings and/or rounds.
Experience with electronic charting, the Nutrition Care Process and writing PES statements to provide appropriate documentation for the plan of care.
Work cooperatively with food service staff to ensure conformance to diet prescriptions.
Demonstrate accountability for the proper use of patients’ protected health information.
Ability to perform work independently with minimal training.
Required Licenses/Certifications
Current Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Indiana state dietitian license may be pending prior to starting the position.
