Program Details

Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full‑time employee in Bargaining Unit 19, and related excluded, exempt, and statutory exempt employees, to have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part‑time employees are subject to the same conditions as full‑time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full‑time employees, based on number of hours worked in the pay period. Responsibilities

Under direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Dietetics, Correctional Facility (CF), the Registered Dietitian, CF provides medical nutrition therapy to patients in a correctional health‑care facility. The Registered Dietitian, CF plans and organizes dietary activity and provides medical nutritional therapy, writes and reviews menus, authorizes substitution or modification of special diets, serves as a member of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT), and provides counseling to patients. The Registered Dietitian, CF maintains order and supervises the conduct of the incarcerated, and protects and maintains the safety of persons and property. Minimum Qualifications

Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. (Applicants with proof of eligibility to apply for registration will be admitted to the examination but must become registered to be eligible for appointment.)
