Responsibilities Texas NeuroRehab Center is hiring a

Clinical Liaison

to support community relations throughout Central Texas. The role involves marketing for the 39‑bed LTAC/IPR, 24‑bed IRF, and 22‑bed Post‑Acute Brain Injury Program located in Austin, TX.

The Center, a specialized treatment facility on 67 wooded acres ten minutes from downtown Austin, has served the community for over 80 years. It provides complex medical and brain injury rehab for patients 13 years and older, and neurobehavioral residential treatment services for children and adolescents. The facility offers integrated care for children, adolescents and adults facing difficult challenges.

The Clinical Liaison will establish strong community relations in Central Texas, including state Medicaid, local health and human services municipalities. The candidate will work with internal interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth transitions for community re‑integration post‑treatment, articulate facility services to potential referral sources (state agencies, local hospitals—both behavioral and medical, and local practitioners), and be willing and able to perform onsite patient evaluations when needed to gather clinical information.

Qualifications Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Minimum 3–5 years experience as a healthcare marketing representative, preferably for a Post‑Acute Brain Injury Program or Acute Rehab Facility in the Austin area. Experience in brain injury and stroke rehabilitation is a plus.

Ability to perform clinical evaluations as requested by the Admissions Department. Clinical background required; RN, PT, OT, SLP acceptable. Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) a plus.

Experience marketing to Workers Compensation Companies or related connections is a plus.

Ability to travel to attend conferences as needed.

Professional presence and appearance.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Bi‑lingual (Spanish) required.

Education College degree.

Licensure / Certification State licence as a clinician—RN, PT, OT, or SLP. Current driver’s license or state‑issued ID.

Experience Healthcare marketing experience required.

Physical / General Requirements Ability to use telephone keypad; hear and speak clearly with customers and employees face‑to‑face and over the telephone; effectively communicate in writing; repetitive use of hands and vision for writing, grasping, and manipulating papers; occasional light lifting (11–25 pounds).
