Admission Clinician Opportunity
This is a full‑time position, primarily for the shift of either 11a‑7p, 3p‑11p, OR 11p‑7a, with rotating weekends and holidays.
The Meadows Psychiatric Center is a 119‑bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Centre Hall, PA. The Meadows features individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, and has been providing comprehensive services to patients for over 35 years. The Meadows is seeking an Intake/Admissions Clinician to join our Admissions Department. Pay commensurate with experience.

The Intake Clinician provides telephonic and in‑person risk assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff. The Intake Clinician also assists the Physician and Intake RN by providing face‑to‑face clinical assessments, including the history of presenting illness, family dynamics and supporting psychosocial information.

Qualifications Requirements:
Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Human Services field required.
Work experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook.
