Supervisor – Anesthesia
Provides oversight for Anesthesia Technicians to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Supports the anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist by the preparation and assistance in the set up of appropriate equipment and supplies for each surgical case. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Prepares and assists in the set up of appropriate equipment and supplies for each surgical case.
Effectively manages one's own technical practice.
Participates in Performance Improvement.
Participates in ongoing educational activities.
Completes assigned goals.
Experience Three years of Anesthesia Technician experience. Prior lead and/or supervisory experience.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Computer literacy.
BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.
Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T) ASATT certification.
Preferred / Desired
Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
