Overview
THE ROLE:
The Manufacturing Technician I will work on a variety of processing duties according to batch record and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in the manufacturing department including but not limited to weighing, granulation, compression, blending and coating.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
Report process or equipment problems to supervisor, perform minor or basic troubleshooting.
Ensure batch records equipment log books and other relevant records are current.
Set-up and operate equipment for processing operations.
Clean and maintain processing rooms and equipment.
Monitor process and equipment and make vital adjustments to maintain batch record specifications.
Keep track of product quality.
Follow established department GMP's, SOP's and batch records.
Follow all internal rules and standards, including health and safety requirements.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Lead.

Good interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Ability to understand, speak, read and write in the English language.
Basic computer skills.
Experience:
1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working/participating in a team based environment.
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) other regulatory.
Experience using high Speed Mixer, Dryers, Fitz mill, Sweco, scales and tablet presses.
Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPS).
