About the Role Project Engineers are responsible for supporting construction management functions in the electrical construction industry, assisting with preparation of plans, applicable specifications, and providing general project support to senior project management professionals. The role includes minor regional travel to project sites across the Denver metro area – Dacono, Denver, Longmont, Loveland, Highlands Ranch, Henderson, and Fort Collins. A company vehicle and fuel card are provided. The position may require occasional travel to the main office in Henderson, CO.

Essential Functions

Interpret applicable construction drawings.

Assist with review of plans and specifications and prepare a checklist of contract features requiring periodic attention.

Ensure subcontractors submit required approvals before work begins.

Assist with cost estimates and project scheduling as needed.

Maintain accurate records.

Prepare statements of work, submittals, change management, and daily/weekly reporting.

Promote safety in construction operations and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

Inspect equipment, material, workmanship, and finished construction.

Check progress of field work and observe procedures adherence.

Maintain regular attendance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Operational duties performed at a company‑designated office or field location.

Understand and comply with the company's Code of Business Conduct, Ethics Policy, and applicable industry‑specific professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the construction process of commercial electrical operations or general construction experience.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (degree or equivalent experience).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to read blueprints and drawings.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Intermediate or higher level proficiency with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.

Strong problem‑solving skills with a practical, detail‑oriented mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $70,000 – $92,000 per year, commensurate with experience, paid weekly.
