We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Parts Inspector
to join our production team in
Geneva, IL . In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction by understanding product requirements and translating them into clear specifications for production. You will make informed decisions throughout the processing cycle, from initial setup to final inspection. Responsibilities include inspecting finished products for quality, repackaging items, and ensuring accurate shipment. This position requires a strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your Responsibilities:
Interact with customers and co-workers in a ‘customer-friendly’ manner
Receive and inspect customer product for processing
Inspect finished product
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Learn new skills and Cross-train into various department
Act as member of the monthly ‘Quality Council’
Being Cross-trained in other areas of production
Your Profile:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient ordering supplies via the Internet
Experience with MS Word and Internet Explorer
Strong work ethic, be high-energy, and detailed-oriented
Able to lift 30lbs

Oerlikon is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position, which is $19.00 to $24.00per hour. Some positions within Oerlikon may also offer eligibility to participate in a discretionary incentive program. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for the role will be based on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, internal equity, job location, work experience, education, training, certifications, licenses, etc. Therefore, as compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual, it is likely that not all applicants will be hired at the highest end of the listed compensation range. Our total compensation package goes beyond base compensation and it will include a competitive benefits package starting with 2 weeks paid time off accrued on a monthly basis, 12 holidays, 48 hours personal/sick time (exception for NY where we follow State law,) medical, dental, vision, 401K, holidays, pet insurance and tuition reimbursement all effective day one of hire.
