Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia E Commerce Shipper (Finance)

Position Summary Performs all duties involved in the shipping process for the E‑Commerce department, including pick, pack and ship functions. Initiates FedEx claims for lost or damaged goods, pulls unsold auction items to appropriate areas (Auction, Outlet, E‑Recycle) and assists listing specialists as needed. Essential Duties

Pull items sold/paid on ShopGoodWill for shipping. Pack items with appropriate shipping materials in a secure, appropriately sized box. Use FedEx and ShopGoodWill shipment software. Meet daily shipment goals. Stage packages for FedEx pickup and assist drivers. Open claims with FedEx for lost or damaged shipments. Determine next steps for unsold items (relist, combine & list, Outlet, Auction, E‑Recycle) and act daily. Assist with photographing and listing as directed by the E‑Commerce Project Manager. Supervisory Responsibilities

The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance

High School Diploma or GED required. No previous experience required. No professional certifications required. Criminal background check required. E‑commerce research and listing experience, or equivalent personal online sales experience, preferred. Preferred Knowledge

Goodwill's product sales lines (music, jewelry, art, electronics, cameras, etc.). Digital camera use and ability to take usable digital photos for online listings. Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action
