Front Desk Coordinator (Term - Limited) – Office of the Attorney General
Term‑limited position through August 2026 in the Colorado Attorney General’s Department of Law (DOL) located at the Wells Fargo Building (1700 Lincoln St, Denver). The Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and the public, and manages front‑desk operations, call routing, mail, and document handling. Only Colorado state residents may apply. Responsibilities
Front Desk Office Support
Greet visitors to the Department of Law Answer and direct calls received on the main phone line Collect call‑tracking data (total calls, call types, etc.) Provide timely and professional responses to voicemail messages Accept deliveries and service of process for the Department
Document Receiving, Sorting and Distribution
Sort and distribute USPS mail and e‑filings daily to appropriate sections Oversee mail and e‑filing processes Accept and route Service of Process, deliveries, and packages for the Department Log Service of Process and other documents
Miscellaneous Office Duties
Support operational functions by assisting with unit and administrative tasks (e.g., photocopies, written documents, reports, spreadsheets)
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of administrative assistant or clerical support in a professional office setting as the main function of the job. OR
a combination of related education and/or relevant experience totaling two years (education may substitute for one year; qualified applicants must have at least one year of administrative/office clerical support experience). Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with confidential information Experience managing and routing calls received Experience working for executives (e.g., escorting guests, answering calls, drafting correspondence) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) Experience working in a mail room or managing mail distribution Additional experience beyond the minimum two years of administrative support Conditions of Employment
Applicants must pass a thorough background investigation prior to appointment. The position requires office work 5 days per week (Mon‑Fri) 8:00 am‑5:00 pm. Majority of work performed at DOL North location (1700 Lincoln St); occasional work performed at DOL South location (1300 Broadway). Required Application Materials

Salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications and in compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Benefits
