Responsible for enrollment training and troubleshooting issues both technical and on site for medical providers across the state of West Virginia. Enrolls providers into West Virginia Statewide Immunization Information Systems (WVSIIS); On site training for medical providers on how to utilize the immunization registry and share all features and immunization reporting best practice as well as travel the state to conduct Vaccine for Children/Immunization Quality Improvement for Providers (VFC/IQIP) audits in physician offices, clinics and hospitals; Meet with office staff to conduct audits, reviews the requirements of the VFC program, use WVSIIS date to identify/assess pocket of needs as well as state and local reports to assess provider immunization coverage rates; Complete the required paperwork based on the findings from the office visit and recommend continued participation or disqualify provider from participation in the federal program; Data validation- constant data monitoring of electronic health records submitted via HL7 (Health Level Seven) in order for medical providers to receive Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) funding.

Training Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Experience Two (2) years full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a technical or program area that is related to the area of employment.
Substitution Additional experience as described below may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis. Post-graduate education in a field related to the area of employment may be substituted for the required experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours for one (1) year of experience.
OR Master's degree in social work from a regionally accredited social work program from a regionally accredited college or university.
Note : Appointment above the entry rate may be made at 5% for each six (6) months of successfully completed work as an intern in a practicum placement with the Department of Health and Human Resources for the Master of Social Work degree.
One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the Health and Human Resources series may substitute for the required training and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
