What We’re Looking For Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Medical Economics Report Developer to join our team! The Medical Economics Report Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of Trillium’s information reporting systems. The Medical Economics Report Developer will work to develop reporting and make recommendations to leadership that inform financial decision-making around rates, capitation, and Medicaid loss ratio.

On a typical day, you might:

Work with the Medical Economics team to develop and implement payer analytics and economics strategies to improve outcomes and drive change.

Writing SQL queries and performing data analysis on behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data and use findings to inform financial decision making.

Work with the Medical Economics team to utilize industry trends and medical economics concepts to shape initiatives and drive results.

Develop presentations and other collateral materials to support initiatives and financial goals.

Research healthcare industry trends, regulations and contract requirements to inform strategic decision making.

Qualifications Required:

High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years of experience writing SQL queries and performing data analysis;

OR

Associate’s degree and one (1) year of experience writing SQL queries and performing data analysis;

OR

Equivalent combination of education/experience.

High School/GED and Two-year degrees require certification. Certification(s) including Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, SQL or an equivalent certification will be accepted.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must reside within North Carolina.

Must be able to travel within catchment as required.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Data Analytics.

One (1) year of experience in Managed Care industry.
