Litigation Paralegal – Full‑time – Legal – Hybrid (1 day per week remote), located in Houston, TX.
Base Pay $85,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and provide insightful recommendations.
Prepare and manage a wide array of legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, affidavits, subpoenas, and legal briefs.
Assist in the management of all phases of litigation, from investigation, pleadings, and discovery through the pre‑trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and external legal counsel to gather and analyze information pertinent to the case.
Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
Keep track of case timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
Attend legal proceedings such as depositions, hearings, and trials.
Stay informed about current legislation, regulations, and legal articles relevant to the industry.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in defense civil litigation; trial experience required.
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; paralegal certification is a plus.
Proficient in legal research and documentation with keen attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court rules, and e‑filing requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Proactive problem‑solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
Ability to travel as needed.
