Responsibilities

Manage and prioritize the workload of engineers, balancing with business demands

Actively promote the on-time completion of projects while managing priorities/escalations

Set measurable objectives for the team and individual reports and guide to achieve them

Encourage innovation of process and creative development methodologies by all

Present creative solutions to technical and/or business requirements and challenges where possible

Manage key cost elements related to the delivery of projects, products, or systems. Seek methods to optimize performance, reduce costs and improve service levels.

Provide project leadership in all phases of systems design, development and support. Prepare strategic plans, task development, estimates, work plans and project schedules and reports for management.

Actively lead or participate in resolving key issues that impact the performance of the team, products or project progress

Work closely with various product teams to determine optimal and agile solutions and provide/guide through alternatives when necessary

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive experience in software development, with strong hands‑on coding and troubleshooting skills.

5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and driving complex IT initiatives.

Expertise in driving cross‑functional collaboration and aligning technology solutions with business objectives.

Deep understanding of high‑availability, clustered environments and their architectural implications.

Solid experience applying Agile development methodologies to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions.

Broad technical knowledge of .NET, Node.js, Java, C#, and modern development tools (SVN, GitHub, Jira, Confluence).

Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction, mentorship, and strategic guidance to peers and stakeholders.

Strong communication skills, adept at translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 USD, which is dependent on several factors including, relevant experience, geography, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k)-matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses. This role includes paid Personal Time Off and paid company holidays.
