Our client is a European‑based global operation with a U.S. operation headquartered in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. They are searching for a hands‑on Facilities Manager to lead a newly created position with no staff reporting initially, requiring the ability to work independently and handle on‑site tasks as needed.
The facility is a 90,000‑square‑foot building that is new in nature, with plans to expand to an additional 80,000 square feet.
Responsibilities
Oversee all infrastructure issues (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
Manage third‑party contracts for plant maintenance, outside landscaping, snow removal, and other facility services.
Direct electrical connections for new machinery installations with third‑party assistance.
Negotiate to decrease utility costs through utility‑rate management and energy‑efficiency initiatives.
