Overview
Manager Hospital Operations – Washington Township, NJ. Responsibilities
Translates interrelated strategic initiatives into large, complex campus plans and programs for execution. In collaboration with the campus executive team and leaders, plans, resources, implements, controls, and evaluates projects that support the region's strategic plan. Communicates regularly and often works one-on-one with senior leadership on a wide variety of topics and/or projects. Provides technical and organizational leadership in specific area(s) of specialization. Manages and motivates multiple teams across several initiatives to achieve shared goals, while developing relationships with key stakeholders. Proactively communicates critical issues and intervenes accordingly; prepares and submits timely reports for operational review. Implements and adjusts workflows to streamline operations and corrective actions for cost control problems. Independently leads and facilitates initiatives, in collaboration with senior leaders, key stakeholders and network leadership across multiple business areas and stakeholder groups. Provides data for developing project estimates by identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements, and costs. Effectively conducts written and oral project updates for senior management and other leaders. Maintains ongoing, proactive relationships with all relevant people. Recommends and submits for capital expenditures to promote safe and efficient care delivery and sound business operations. Routinely reviews data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and errors to address them promptly. Demonstrates eagerness and curiosity to understand core business elements critical to project success in relevant topics (e.g. healthcare operations, patient access and experience, healthcare IT, human resources, finance and revenue cycle) through independent reading, professional networking, and/or attending relevant conferences and workshops. Supports campus-based process improvement projects. Provides support as needed to senior and operational leadership roles and cross-functional teams. Salary and Work Details
