This role supports IT Operations and Change Management functions through technical analysis, automation support, and system monitoring, while serving as a key liaison between operations, development teams, and business users.
Accountabilities
Monitor software applications for proper functioning
Analyze application issues and problems and provide resolution
Assess impact of updates and/or changes to existing system configurations
Communicate technical issues to technical support staff to resolve application and hardware issues
Compile metrics to ensure operational performance and control objectives are met or exceeded
Develop clear and concise documentation and instruction manuals and update them as needed
Support batch processing automation using enterprise scheduling tools
Assist in developing and maintaining automated workflows
Write and maintain basic scripts for operational tasks (PowerShell, Python)
Support change management processes and documentation
Perform SQL queries for operational data analysis and validation
Participate in overnight support rotation for critical business processes
Assist in implementing and testing automated monitoring solutions
Support audit and compliance requirements for operational processes
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate's degree in a related area
2-5 years' experience in process improvement and operational efficiencies or related experience preferred
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures of technical support
Strong critical thinking and software data analysis skills
Experience with automation tools and batch scheduling
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python preferred)
SQL query writing and database fundamentals
Understanding of change management principles
Experience with system monitoring tools
Ability to work rotating shifts including overnight coverage
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of IT security best practices preferred
Compensation Range Annual Salary: $65,540.00 - $77,829.00. This salary range represents the Bank’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank’s annual incentive plan.
