Responsibilities We are currently seeking an Admissions Coordinator on Evening Shift to join the Admissions Department.

The Admissions Coordinator handles intake by screening patients at the pre‑hospital level to ensure admission criteria are met. The incumbent facilitates the admission process by assisting the client, family and referral sources and provides information regarding treatment, insurance and admission procedures.

This is a full‑time position reporting to the Director of Admissions.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3 pm – 11 pm, evening shift.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming program inquiries/referrals via telephone, fax and/or internet promptly.

Provide information to potential clients, families and referral sources regarding treatment programs, insurance and admission procedures.

Obtain initial client clinical and funding source information during admission.

Communicate patient information to the Medical Director, Directors of Admissions, UR, Program, Nursing and Education.

Conduct the admission process with the client and families: explain forms, secure necessary signatures, process and distribute completed forms to appropriate departments.

Provide follow‑up to referral sources and families regarding patient status.

Location:

Leesburg, Virginia – 40 miles Northwest of Washington DC. Beautiful 45‑acre campus.

Qualifications

Minimum Master’s degree in human services (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling) or RN.

Preferred: Licensed in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).

Preferred experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric setting.

At least 21 years old.

Pass criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screen.

Good verbal and written skills, ability to rotate shifts and programs as needed, maintain confidentiality.

Consistently exhibit mental and emotional capacity to understand and perform essential functions.

Knowledge of psychology principles and child growth and development.
