What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Analyze professional and facility claims to ensure appropriate reimbursement and compliance with payer policies
Collaborate with clinical leadership to perform charge reconciliations and mitigate revenue loss risks
Interpret revenue cycle policies to recommend improvements and enhance processes
Serve as the point of contact for complex billing scenarios and establish filing processes
Maintain and oversee revenue edits in Epic, ensuring timely and compliant charge capture
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum 4 years of experience in healthcare with clinic/hospital billing systems
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
Certification from a recognized coding or health information organization, such as AAPC or AHIMA
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to executive leadership

Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and developing solutions
