Warehouse Slotting Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to manage item (SKU) inventory by designating correct locations to optimize product flow and ensure accurate inventory in the dry/cooler/freezer warehouse departments. The role requires analyzing data with spreadsheet/software applications, interfacing between purchasing, warehouse, transportation and inventory departments, and performing other duties to serve internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
Inspect all pick slots for inventory accuracy and maintain pick slot integrity (counts, ti-hi’s, cubing, etc.).
Initiate and manage the setup of slotting for new items; analyze slot and product dimension requirements to ensure correct setup.
Report inventory adjustments, locations of empty slots and related information to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
Analyze reports/data to resolve slotting issues and verify slot contents and counts; review inventory movement and slot location effectiveness; use data to slot items correctly by cubic movement and weight to minimize replenishments and reduce injury and damage.
Ensure data is updated routinely to support informed decision making across all departments.
Inspect and maintain pick slot efficiency and effectiveness for optimal performance.
Perform general housekeeping in the work area and secure equipment; complete necessary end-of-shift paperwork.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Details
Pay is $25.00-$30.00 DOE
Shift is Sunday-Thursday 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM with a 30 minute lunch

Requires ability to interface professionally and effectively between purchasing, warehouse, transportation and inventory departments. This role will function as a team member within the department and across functions as required, and perform other duties to best serve the company’s customers.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
6 - 12 months in warehouse order selection, inventory control or related warehouse work
Must be pallet jack and forklift certified
Basic to intermediate level computer skills
Compensation $25.00-$30.00 per hour DOE
