Responsibilities
Ensure health and safety are the top priority by following company policies and procedures.
Assist in segregation of chemicals by hazard class and packing compatible materials for transportation.
Prepare and submit required paperwork for each job.
Determine supplies needed and travel to industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services.
Characterize materials at field project sites as needed.
Follow proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials.
Build client relationships through effective communication.
Direct field technicians/drivers assisting with waste collection.
Utilize introductory knowledge of high‑hazard material handling, assessment, and cylinder handling.
Essential Requirements
Education: Four‑year college degree in science or environmental studies, or 2+ years of related experience.
Experience: Prior lab packing or environmental waste experience is preferred.
