What You’ll Do
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. 4Main CV Stepdown 24-bed private CV Stepdown and telemetry unit Specializes in caring for cardiothoracic/vascular surgical, pre-operative and post-operative progressive care patients 4Main teammates new to critical care or enrolled in the Critical Care Academy (CCA) Also serves as med/surg overflow We’re Looking For
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date Cardiac/critical care experience preferred Qualifications

Atrium Health Navicent- The Medical Center is a nationally recognized academic medical center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet hospital for nursing, serving a service area of 30 counties and a population of nearly 750,000. It has over 4,500 employees and a medical staff of approximately 700 physicians. The hospital is licensed for 637 beds, including pediatrics, medical surgical, trauma and cardiac surgery. The Emergency Department handles a high volume of visitors, and the medical center provides a broad range of outpatient services. It is the primary academic hospital for Mercer University School of Medicine, offering residency and fellowship programs for over 100 residents and is affiliated with multiple universities as a clinical education site.
