Are you an experienced Mental/Behavioral Health Technician, passionate about providing patient care in a hospital setting? Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral is looking for you! We are currently recruiting for Lead Mental Health Technicians (MHT).
Position Summary The Lead Mental Health Technician works under direct supervision to provide clerical and patient care activities in the treatment and care of patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. As Lead MHT you will:
Support new hires in their introductory period
Manage behavioral problems
Facilitate education and activity groups.
Actively participate as a member of the treatment team, and
Perform other duties as assigned.
Available Schedules Day 7:00a to 7:30p
Night 7:00p to 7:30a

Qualifications Education:
High school diploma, Certificate, or Associates Degree.
Experience:
Two years’ experience in a related capacity (one year of which has been at Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health or a sister facility offering the same services) or exemplary performance in current role.
Age-Specific Competencies:
Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric (depending on unit)
Licensure/Certification:
CPR required; CPI certification
