Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed if additional service is needed and provide an estimate of time required for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Keep a great attitude
Keep your area and the customer cars clean
Requirements
High school diploma
ASE certification preferred
GM training/repair experience preferred
Strong teamwork skills
Valid automobile insurance
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
Ability to identify problems efficiently and accurately
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
