Maintenance Technician (WDA) Overview This is a 2‑year traineeship contract based in TUAS, Singapore – the regional hub for Asia Pacific and a top‑ranked biopharmaceutical company recognized for best employer status in 2020 and 2021.

What You Will Do

Assist the Maintenance Lead in completing work activities on time, efficiently and satisfactorily.

Follow up and finish the previous shift’s or day’s incomplete work.

Provide simple troubleshooting and diagnostics of equipment failure to determine root cause and perform immediate corrective actions.

Standby for any emergency repair after office hours, weekends and public holidays.

Operate and maintain utilities and/or production support equipment efficiently and reliably to support production activities.

Perform and coordinate utilities shutdown, startup, swing over, and equipment servicing and inspection.

Identify, execute and report improvements to routine work activities.

Assist in improving equipment or system efficiency, reducing energy cost/usage and other cost‑saving/avoidance projects.

Perform jobs assigned by the Maintenance Lead pertaining to installation, modification, fabrication, testing, servicing and repairs of equipment with adherence to site change control procedures or minor projects.

Assist in performing testing, commissioning, qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) activities.

Participate in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) improvement initiatives such as audits and training.

Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for electrical systems, calibrations and preventive maintenance on all types of industrial instruments.

Execute CMMS Work Instructions from process plants, perform basic troubleshooting of PLC, BMS, EMS and FAS systems, and assist engineer during vendor servicing of LV and MV electrical systems.

Supervise and oversee third‑party contractors where applicable.

Any other duties as and when assigned by the Manager.

What You Must Have

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.

2–3 years of experience in engineering or related industries.

Good understanding of safe working practices and maintenance of process equipment or tablets.

Experience working in a cleanroom environment.

PMETs/Mid‑Careerists with no prior experience in biopharma industry are welcome to apply.

Open to a 2‑year contract.
