Financial Systems Manager – IntrepidGS
Responsibilities
Act as the system owner and administrator for Deltek Costpoint and associated applications (e.g., Worktech, Workday, Maximo, Time & Expense, Cognos, BI tools).
Manage user access, roles, permissions, and security protocols.
Provide day‑to‑day support, troubleshooting, and resolution for system issues, coordinating with Deltek support and IT as needed.
Maintain system documentation, workflows, and user guides.
Configure and maintain Costpoint modules including General Ledger, Projects, Contracts, Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Fixed Assets.
Partner with Finance, HR, and Contracts teams to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and support business needs.
Evaluate and implement new Costpoint features, upgrades, patches, and integrations.
Manage testing, validation, and deployment of system updates.
Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports using Cognos, Costpoint dashboards, and other BI/reporting tools.
Ensure data accuracy and system integrity across multiple divisions and business units.
Provide analytics and reporting support for corporate FP&A, accounting, contracts, and program finance teams.
Support DCAA audits, incurred cost submissions, and compliance reporting through accurate system data.
Conduct training sessions and create user‑friendly documentation for system processes.
Support onboarding and training of new finance/accounting system users.
Serve as a liaison between finance teams and IT for financial system‑related initiatives.
Level Of Supervision Supervise and mentor Financial Systems Analysts.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Ability to obtain a Common Access Card, Government Security Clearance and maintain a clearance.
Five plus years of hands‑on experience with Deltek Costpoint Management (user setup, module configuration, reporting, and upgrades).
Strong understanding of financial processes within a federal government contracting environment.
Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA audit requirements as they relate to system administration.
Proficiency in Cognos or other Costpoint‑compatible reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Knowledge & Skills
Background in multi‑division/multi‑entity environments.
Experience integrating Costpoint with HR, payroll, or external systems.
Travel 10%–15%
Security Clearance Active secret clearance or ability to obtain.
