Responsibilities Obtain vital signs and general health information for patient chart and prepare patient for examination. Assist the provider as needed with examinations and procedures. Assists in the collection of laboratory specimens and performance of tests on patients as ordered by the provider or arrange patient testing, admissions and referrals. Enter and record patient information in charts in a concise and accurate manner. Communicate with patients via telephone/portal, and utilize Epic EMR.
Qualifications
Bilingual is preferred
CMA – Graduate of accredited program of Certified Medical Assistants. Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in family care practice.
LPN – Graduate of accredited program of Licensed Practical Nurse. Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in family care practice.
Paramedic – Current NC EMT-Paramedic Certification
Current BLS
Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in a clinical setting.
