What This Job Can Offer You The Senior Manager, Talent Management, will be the architect of Remote’s global talent strategy and will build from the ground up a holistic strategy across Learning & Development (L&D) and Employee Experience (EX) to drive high performance, build future leaders, and enable internal mobility. This is a hands-on role involving both strategic vision and practical application and facilitation. This role reports to the Chief People Officer and will lead a small, high-impact team and influence the employee journey. What You Bring Cross-Functional Partnership: Strong, influential partnerships with Talent Acquisition (TA) and People Business Partner (PBP) teams to drive shared talent outcomes. Global/Remote Experience: Design and implement global, fully remote talent programs for a dispersed workforce. Analytical Leadership: Use workforce analytics to frame complex problems and drive data-backed decisions at the executive level. Domain Expertise: Knowledge of contemporary talent management practices (succession planning, career pathing, performance calibration, adult learning). Program Ownership: End-to-end program development, execution, and measurement. Leadership: Experience managing and mentoring a team, fostering a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities Talent Strategy & Leadership Development Shape and own the company’s approach to developing future leaders with strong, ready-now talent at all levels. Lead Core Talent Processes: performance alignment, top-talent identification, succession planning, internal mobility. Strengthen Leadership Capabilities: design development experiences for leaders at all levels. Promote Internal Career Growth: create structures that encourage internal career growth and skills expansion. Learning & Development (L&D) Develop a scalable learning strategy aligned to business goals for individual contributors and managers; include senior leadership programs for Directors and above. Deliver high-impact learning experiences for employees, managers, and leaders to strengthen performance and growth. Embed inclusive learning practices that reflect equity, inclusion, and belonging. Employee Experience Infrastructure & Communication Own end-to-end execution and metrics for core talent programs across the globe. Serve as the functional owner for L&D and Talent Management input into the Employee Experience infrastructure, including communications and resources for the employee journey touchpoints. Collaborate with other People Team sub-departments to ensure a consistent, integrated approach to onboarding, performance, growth, and exit.
