We supply just about everything besides plumbing and electrical to build homes. Our focus is on serving professional home builders. Along with providing materials, we install a wide range of products including framing, overhead doors, insulation, gutters, siding, and more. We also manufacture some products including trusses, cabinets, doors, and granite countertops.

Primary purpose: The Sales Specialist is responsible for generating and managing sales of installed flooring, cabinetry, and countertops within the new home construction, commercial, and remodeling industries. This role involves building strong relationships with home builders, contractors, designers, and homeowners to understand their needs and provide customized product and installation solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sales background, industry knowledge, and the ability to manage projects from initial consultation to final installation.
Duties and Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development
Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in new home construction, commercial projects, and remodeling.
Build and maintain strong relationships with homebuilders, general contractors, designers, property managers, and homeowners.
Conduct site visits and client meetings to assess project needs, present product options, and provide estimates.
Deliver compelling product presentations and educate clients on materials, design options, and installation processes.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients while ensuring company profitability and competitiveness.
Project Coordination & Customer Management
Guide customers through the selection process for flooring, cabinetry, and countertops based on project scope, budget, and design preferences.
Coordinate with internal teams, including project managers, estimators, and installation crews, to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any concerns or changes.
Manage project timelines, approvals, and material deliveries to keep projects on schedule.
Provide after‑sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and secure repeat business.
Product & Industry Knowledge
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging materials, and advancements in flooring, cabinetry, and countertop products.
Develop a deep understanding of product specifications, installation requirements, and maintenance recommendations.
Attend industry trade shows, training sessions, and networking events to expand industry knowledge and grow professional connections.
Sales Performance & Reporting
Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Maintain accurate sales records, project details, and customer interactions in the company’s CRM system.
Provide regular sales reports and market insights to management.
Gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for product or service improvements.
Requirements Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 3+ years of sales experience in flooring, cabinetry, countertops, or related building materials industry.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the new home construction, commercial, and remodeling industries.
Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and the ability to negotiate effectively.
Customer Service Orientation: Strong relationship‑building skills with a customer‑first approach.
Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with estimating software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain products clearly.
Self‑Motivated: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive sales growth.
Valid Driver’s License: Required for job site visits and client meetings.
