STOREROOM SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Location: 75 College Drive, Montevallo, AL 35115.
Pay: $14.00 per hour.
Schedule: Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 2:30 pm (details will be provided during interview).
Requirement: Supervisory experience preferred.
Job Summary Oversees and coordinates activities in a storeroom or stockroom.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise associates who order, receive, and put away inventory.
Supervise associates who issue or ship materials.
Ensure stocks and supplies are adequate and stored to preserve quality.
Apply FIFO system to minimize waste.
Plan the layout and design of the storeroom, considering stock turnover, size, and weight.
Communicate with management and make recommendations regarding non‑usable, slow‑moving, and excess stock.
Resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock‑control records.
Assist vendors in gaining access to deliver (open gates, storerooms) and supervise while the area is unsecured.
Covers shifts for storeroom employees on vacation, sick leave, or otherwise absent.
Perform other duties as assigned.
