Clinical Research Assistant (HS) at Inside Higher Ed. This role supports clinical research studies within the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep, in partnership with the Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM). Responsibilities
Assist with implementation and coordination of clinical research studies. Participate in recruitment of study participants. Perform behavioral or diagnostic testing and assist with collection, maintenance, and reporting of clinical research data. Qualifications
Minimum Education Required : Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Experience : 0 years of relevant experience required. Desired Experience : 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred. Experience in a research capacity is desired; knowledge or experience in a specialty may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skills with knowledge of database software applications are desired. Additional Information
This is a patient-facing role. The position may require being on call and possible evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Some travel to other clinical research sites within the Columbus Metropolitan area; locations may include Outpatient Dublin, New Albany, Martha Morehouse Pavilion, and East Hospital. Location : Optometry Clinic (1041) Position Type : Regular Scheduled Hours : 40 Shift : First Shift Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
