About This Position
Full-Time
Rotating Shift with shifts occurring every 6 weeks from 7:00pm – 7:00am and 7:00am – 7:00p
Night Shift Pay Differential included
New Hire Bonus of $30,000 available to Eligible External Candidates
Relocation Bonus of up to $10,000 available to Eligible External Candidates based on their location
Weekend Requirement of Every 4th Weekend
Participate in bedside rounds & be a patient advocate
Referral Eligible Position
Location: Riley Maternity Tower: Stork Team, NICU and Labor & Delivery
Our Respiratory Therapists (RT) work closely with our patients to evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders ranging in modalities and demographics. We are also responsible for collaborating with various different entities in the hospital setting including nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists to ensure total customer happiness and support.
Requirements
Current Indiana license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
Graduation from a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program.
Passing the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) registry exam within 6 months of hire date (Note: this requirement is waived if the hire date is more than one year past graduation).
Healthcare Provider Certification. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP are preferred.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
