Job Description Rounds and assesses patient care units to evaluate patient conditions, identify staffing needs, and provide support to caregivers. Advises and directs nursing personnel, responds to Code Blue situations, and manages clinical emergencies. Acts as liaison for patient movement and bed assignments, promoting cost-effective management of staffing, equipment, and supplies. Represents nursing administration during off-shifts, authorizes consent or treatment during admissions, and serves as incident commander for disasters. Provides direction and collaborates with hospital leadership during significant events, including organizational codes and system downtimes. Fosters exceptional patient experiences through compassionate communication and effective relationships with patients, visitors, staff, and leadership. Facilitates communication between departments, physicians, administration, families, patients, and staff, keeping campus leaders informed of significant situations. Abides by national and company standards and code of ethics, participates in practice changes, processes improvement initiatives, and completes required education. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the hospital and exhibits a desire to learn, teach, coach, and advance nursing and leadership skills. Directs nursing supervisors and others and monitors performance, education requirements, work hours, and relationships with departments, staff, and leadership. Collaborates and communicates with all departments regarding operational issues. Other duties as assigned.

Associate's of Nursing (Required)
Bachelor's of Nursing

Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS) Certification
