Day shift at Mount Carmel St Ann's

Shift differentials when applicable

$15,000 sign on bonus for eligible hires

Call requirement is 14 days in a six-week schedule. Must be able to respond within 30 min.

Position Purpose The Interventional Radiographer performs angiographic procedures including invasive vascular treatments and examinations of a technical level consistent with optimal image quality, including a variety of technical and non-technical tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of interventional procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.

Responsible for entering online charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy.

Participate in on-call coverage as applicable.

Follow guidelines for Radiation Safety as outlined in MCHS Radiation Safety Policy Manual.

Attend in-service programs and departmental meetings.

Provide patient care, ensure an environment of patient safety, promote evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibit professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program.

Licensure / Certification:

Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid State of Ohio Radiological License required. CI or CV registry preferred. – Or – Cardiovascular Technologist with Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), with 2 years work experience in cardiac catheterization preferred.

Experience:

2 years work experience in all phases of diagnostic radiography, preferred; with angiography, cardiac catheterization, or surgery experience preferred.

Maintain current CPR certification.
