This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.
**Job Purpose and Impact**
The Merchant Assistant will provide administrative support to the trading desks. In this role, you will prepare routine reporting, commodity pricing, profit and loss estimates and other supporting duties.
**Key Accountabilities**
* Maintain and cultivate established relationships with small accounts, customers, clients, suppliers and other business partners.* Collaborate closely with various business partners, including supply chain and field team to achieve origination objectives.* Prepare reports and conduct competitive analysis, such as, pricing sheets, regular origination reporting, reconciliation for positions, as well as profit and loss estimates.* Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.* Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
* High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent* Confirmed analytical thinking and problem solving skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Minimum of two years of related work experience
