Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
Protect and preserve the master bank assets, accounting for, documenting, and verifying the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing currency, coin, tokens, chips, cash, vouchers, TITO tickets, coupons, checks, jackpot slips, bank deposits, and other monetary units.
Perform verification, reconciliation, and balancing functions, including drafting, completing, signing, or otherwise preparing any necessary documentation such as the Vault Entry Log, Cashier Turn‑in or Exchange Slips, Vault Count Sheet, Main Bank Summary, Vault Accountability, Drop Summary Reports, and reports required to reconcile self‑redemption machines.
Understand and efficiently operate all machines used in the course of business including computers or other information systems, software, and hardware.
Verify Count Room drops as a blind count, including verification of each strap or brick, clip, and tokens counted.
Verify and process all bagged tokens that require scaling and tagging.
Prepare and process Cashier and Casino Banker exchanges.
Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.
Compile information, complete, and submit reports as needed.
Adhere to all departmental, property, and company policies and procedures.
Meet all departmental or company deadlines, including the timely completion of drops.
Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations.
Maintain communication with all departments, team members, and guests to ensure positive experiences.
Maintain a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of questionable association.
Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work area.
Observe and follow all company safety rules and regulations.
Implement and maintain a working knowledge of the property’s system of internal controls and Star Service Standards as well as Federal Currency Transaction Reporting Laws as they pertain to casinos.
Perform all related and compatible duties as assigned.
Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree and/or prior banking experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Previous casino Cage or cash handling experience strongly preferred.
Mathematically inclined; ten‑key calculator skills required.
Strong problem‑solving, mediation, and consulting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of state gaming regulations.
Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
Data entry and computer skills required.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
Ability to work with interruptions and divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments.
Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Must obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
