Technical Service Representative - Automotive Ecoat and Paint , you will represent PPG onsite in front of the Customer. Ensuring our Automotive Coatings customer satisfaction by providing outstanding customer service. Focus your concentration on Ecoat and Topcoat process checking that all parameters and specifications for paint process are under control. Be responsible for both the Plant and PPG goals. You will participate in Continuous improvement team and problem-resolution meetings with Plant Operations and Management. Report to the Optima Solutions Site Manager at Toyota Indiana facilities. Key Responsibilities

Record daily inventory count at site, keep accurate recordings in the log sheets, estimate usages, foresee possible issues with inventory and expiration dates. Attend daily meetings with customers to provide feedback from data collected, and answer questions and provide recommendations as needed. Participate in meetings with internal PPG departments such as Technical, Commercial, Quality, Production, etc., to address projects, quality and/or technical issues, etc. Perform required tests for material and process systems, prepare technical reports and submit to Customer with conclusions and recommendations. Support the ongoing activities of onsite PPG customer team at automotive production facilities and communicate logically with initiative to understand customer concerns, collect data, take appropriate actions, and resolve problems. Provide resolution to customer inquiries, application process monitoring, mix-room supervisors, consignment inventory, material ordering, and hands-on support; followed by a written daily shift report. Use PPG digital tools (ETQ, SAM, Daily Dashboard as requested). Comply with all online and face to face training assignments. Support any special projects as needed. Qualifications

Engineering diploma or equivalent. 3+ years field experience with various automotive industrial coating technologies including Ecoat, solvent/water base coat/clear coat systems. Experience with Ecoat/top coat OEM or TIER process, color evaluation, material adjustments. Continually work in a customer production environment, around automated equipment, and be able lift 50 lbs. on a limited basis. Work well within a team environment to solve challenges. About us
