Base Pay Range $30.00/hr - $45.00/hr

The Role We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, or arranging for repairs of equipment and all operating systems. The ideal candidate would be a reliable self-starter who is able to work autonomously, has a mix of mechanical and technical skills and takes initiative and has pride in their work. Must have excellent attention to detail and strong customer service. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.

Responsibilities

Perform highly diversified duties to repair, install, and maintain petroleum equipment and related devices

Execute mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely manner and ensure all requests are handled in a professional manner

Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations and requirements

Troubleshoot various types of equipment, able to make repairs as needed

Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand, and power tools related to the job

Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order

Any other duties or responsibilities, as assigned

Requirements and Skills

Experience with electrical controls and electronic wiring

Will maintain a valid driver’s license as well as a clean driving record

High School diploma or equivalent

Must be available for on-call rotation

Mechanical Aptitude

Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Demonstrates organization skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Team oriented, with the ability to build consensus and effective relationships in a cohesive business environment

Must have a passion for customer service excellence

Keep supervisor fully informed by verbal, written, and electronic communication

Ability to respond promptly to service calls or emergencies as they arise

Self-motivated, driven with a passion for excellence

Preferred Qualifications

Gilbarco Certified

Wayne Certified

Verifone Certified

Passport certified

Veeder Root/Franklin experience or certified

API certified
