Mechanical Engineer (5+ years' experience)
As a Mechanical Engineer with 5-15 years of experience, you will be responsible for detail design of machine systems and subsystems, coordination with internal and external suppliers, and working with internal teams to build and test equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing resources, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Mechanical engineering calculations.
CAD modeling of complex assemblies.
Design of machined parts and sheet metal parts.
Creation of assembly drawings.
Maintaining Bill of Materials.
Obtaining quotes for purchased parts and raw material stock.
Purchasing parts and raw materials from external vendors.
Ordering machined parts and weldments from internal teams.
Working with internal teams during assembly and test of complex assemblies and entire machines.
Qualifications:
Hands on experience and natural mechanical inclination.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with > 5 years equipment or component design
Proven experience in an engineering role, with a track record of successfully completing complex projects.
Strong technical background with hands‑on experience in mechanical system design, development, and implementation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Lead engineering projects using the highest quality standards to completion within time and budget expectations.
• Able to work indefinitely in the United States without need for sponsorship.
Preferred:
Roll to roll controls and design experience.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
