Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 USD Annually

Description Analytical Services & Materials, Inc. is seeking to hire a

Government Contracts Billing Specialist

to support our team.

Compensation decisions are based upon a range of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs.

Responsibilities

Execution of the full billing cycle to ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing and collections.

Revenue recognition and reconciliation.

Support of contract setup, modification entry, and contract maintenance.

Coordinate with Contracts and Project Management to establish new contracts and task orders in DELTEK, ensuring alignment with compliance, billing and reporting requirements.

Work with project managers to ensure the accurate and timely submission of invoices.

Review Job Cost Reports for accuracy.

Follow established procedures regarding billing and contract maintenance.

Identify and research invoicing issues such as short paid invoices, and provide resolution, as appropriate.

Assist in managing collection of customer invoices, including contacting customers to resolve delays in processing payment.

Reconcile receivables and ensure correct application of cash receipts.

Receive training aimed at supporting the accounting team with month end activities, audits, and other general accounting duties as assigned during downtime between billing cycles.

Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required.

At least 2 years of Government Contract Billings experience.

Experience in billings on different types of government contracts, such as Time & Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Fee (CPFF or CPAF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP).

Experience with Deltek Systems preferred.

Good verbal and written communications skills.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Ability to receive instruction and meet deadlines.

Ability to successfully pass background check and drug testing.
