Bronx, NY - All Applicants Must Hold a Valid NY Real Estate License! Are you ready for a career and not just a job? We are a top real estate team in the area, and we are looking for a Leasing Agent. The ideal candidate will excel in working with property owners to find lessors and determine their needs, wants, and economic feasibility. The Leasing Agent will market properties utilizing social media and websites and set up showings and open houses.

Responsibilities

Conduct property showings for potential tenants and provide detailed information about available rental units

Negotiate lease terms and contracts with prospective tenants in alignment with company policies and legal requirements

Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting property inspections and handling security deposit refunds

Utilize marketing strategies to attract new tenants and maintain high occupancy rates for rental properties

Stay updated on local rental market trends and competitor activities to recommend competitive rental prices and identify growth opportunities

Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants to help secure rental agreement

Question prospective clients on their needs, wants, and available finances to find properties that fit these needs

Promote available properties using various social media and websites to help ensure quick rental contracts

Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close the deal

Research local rental rates and calculate costs to determine fair and competitive pricing

Qualifications

A proven record of sales experience and success

Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Publisher

Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

To qualify, you must agree to a commission-only compensation package

Demonstrated leasing experience

Authorization to work in the US

Proficiency in marketing and lead generation

Familiar with leasing regulations

Proven track of successful sales record

Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written

Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies

Compensation $125,000+ yearly commission at plan earnings
