Night Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7a-7:30p; alternating weekends required.

Pay Range Days:

$41.00 - $55.00 per hour (with shift differentials and bonus)

Pay Range Weekend Days:

$43.00 - $57.00 per hour (with shift differentials and bonus)

Pay Range Nights:

$46.00 - $60.00 per hour (with shift differentials and bonus)

Pay Range Weekend Nights:

$48.00 - $62.00 per hour (with shift differentials and bonus)

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Centennial Peaks Hospital. The RN prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care utilizing the nursing process that is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. The RN is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.

Qualifications

The ability to multi‑task and thrive in a fast‑paced environment is critical.

Current license to practice nursing in the state of Colorado (or eligible to receive or renew).

Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.

One‑year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing, preferred.

Ability to provide therapeutic care to patients with a variety of mental health needs.

Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age‑specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management.

Current CPR BLS certification through American Heart Association, or ability to learn; this training is provided during the training period.
