Job Title: Shipping and Quality Assurance Specialist

This Shipping and Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that all orders are accurately picked, passed through the quality assurance process, packaged, and shipped. The role is responsible for verifying that orders have been accurately fulfilled before shipment. It involves reviewing packing slips, comparing package contents for accuracy, reporting any discrepancies, and assisting in final packaging when necessary.

Responsibilities

Review pack lists to ensure that contents of each order are properly included in each package.

Weigh, count, and visually inspect materials, verifying part numbers on supplies, material, and equipment for accuracy.

Determine the appropriate conveyor system by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers, and sorting packages accordingly.

Pack boxes using various shipping materials and ensure proper labeling and postage is included with each shipment.

Maintain levels of shipping materials and notify the appropriate party when supplies are low.

Manage packaging inventory, including boxing up and sealing materials for shipment.

Utilize an online exceptions management system to communicate with clients.

Collaborate with other fulfillment departments to ensure all eligible packages are ready for shipment.

Essential Skills

Experience with quality assurance processes.

Proficiency in using RF Scanners.

Familiarity with warehouse packing procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1 year of experience working in a quality inspection department for an electronics company.

1 year of shipping experience.

Work Environment Our facility repairs and refurbishes ATM checkout swipe machines. You will work alongside 20 employees across five different departments focused on inspecting, repairing, and returning machines to stores. The role operates on a shift beginning at 10 AM.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.50/hr.
